Who We Are
M&H General Construction is a licensed Connecticut contractor working out of the 203 area, mostly on awnings. We install new ones, repair and re-cover old ones, and take fabric down before the winter gets to it. Alongside that we build and fix wood fencing and railings, and we take the small jobs most contractors will not come out for.
The experience behind the work runs to 20 years of fitting and repairing awnings on houses and storefronts. The company itself is newer, and we would rather tell you that plainly than pretend otherwise.
We are a small team on purpose. When you call, you are talking to the people who will show up at your property. There is no call center, no account manager and nobody in the middle of the conversation.

Straight Answers
If a frame is finished, we say so. If a repair will hold, we say that too. We would rather lose a sale than sell you a cover that will not last.

We come out, measure and give you a price. No charge for the visit and no pressure at the end of it.
We Service What We Fit
Take-down in the fall, re-hang in the spring, repairs in between. The same number reaches the same people.
